Policies formulate rules and regulations to guide our services of course, facility, website and system. These policies reflect and uphold the core principles of SCAA
The South China Athletic Association (“SCAA”) upholds high standards of conduct as a National Sport Association, adheres to principles of good governance and integrity management, and maintains a zero-tolerance stance towards corruption and misconduct.
SCAA’s policies on Good Governance, Integrity Management, and the prevention of corruption and misconduct are clearly set out in the relevant policies applicable to the Council, the Executive Committee, and employees (including, but not limited to, codes of conduct, declaration of interests, and conflicts of interest).
SCAA requires all members—including members of the Council, the Executive Committee, and other honorary officials, as well as employees at all levels— to comply with the aforementioned policies and any applicable laws, rules, and regulations concerning anti-corruption and the prevention of misconduct. This includes Sections 4, 8, and 9 of the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance (Cap. 201), relevant guidelines issued by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), or, where applicable, similar laws and regulations.
Any honorary official and/or employee found to be in violation of the SCAA’s policy against corruption and misconduct will be subject to disciplinary action; this may include, where necessary, the dismissal of the employee or the termination of the honorary official’s appointment.
SCAA regularly reviews and updates relevant policies, communicates and explains them to all honorary officials and employees at all levels, and audits their implementation periodically.
In the event of any discrepancy between the Chinese translation of this statement and the English original, the English original shall prevail.
