Swimming Pool

1. The Swimming Pool facilities of South China Athletic Association (SCAA) are for SCAA members only;
2. All members must abide by the rules and regulations of SCAA;
3. All members must present their valid membership cards when purchasing admission tickets at the ticket counter;
4. Children under age 12 are not allowed to use the pool unless accompanied by adults, maximum 2 children per adult;
5. No person age 6 or above or over 1.1M in height will be allowed to enter or stay inside the changing room of opposite sex;
6. Persons suffering from conjunctivitis (red eye) or other contagious diseases are not allowed to enter the precincts of the swimming pool.
7. Climbing over the fence at the spectators stand or using any other unlawful means to enter the swimming pool area are strictly prohibited;
8. No climbing or running in the spectators stand area;
9. Only proper swimwear, bathrobe and clean slippers are allowed to be worn at the pool deck;
10. No diving in the swimming pool without the consent of the Management;
11. No running or horse playing in the swimming pool area;
12. No smoking, eating, spitting, urinating, excreting or littering in the swimming pool area;
13. Only authorised coaches will be allowed to conduct private sessions for members. The on-duty supervisors may stop anyone from conducting unauthorised private coaching. The on-duty supervisor is authorised to demand anyone with repeated offences to leave the swimming pool immediately;
14. No Floating aid equipment in the main pool except during swimming sessions being conducted by SCAA swimming coaches;
15. NO PVC swimming aid, swim paddles, swim fins, or diving equipment in the swimming pool without the consent of the Management;
16. The on-duty supervisors are authorised to demand any member whose behavior is disturbing to others, to leave the swimming pool immediately;
17. NO photograph taking or video recording in the swimming pool area without the consent of the Management;
18. Members are not allowed to take away any items or objects of the swimming pool without the consent of the Management;
19. Any member causing damage to any pool facilities shall be required to pay for the cost of such damage;
20. Members must take care of their personal belongings. The Management shall not be responsible for the damage to, or loss of any items of their personal belongings;
21. The supervisors may demand any member who contravenes any of these rules and regulations or misbehave, to leave the swimming pool forthwith;
22. The Management shall not be responsible for any accidents occurred, or injuries sustained when using the swimming pool facilities;
23. These rules and regulations may be amended without prior notice.

DOCTOR’S VERIFICATION:
The Management may ask for doctor’s verification from members whose physical conditions are in doubt.

6:30am – 11:45am
1:00pm – 5:00pm
7:30pm – 9:45pm

Sat & Sun
6:30am – 11:45am
1:00pm – 6:00pm
7:30pm – 9:45pm

Swimming Pool Office Opening Hours:

Mon to Sat
10:00am – 1:00pm
2:00pm – 6:00pm

Sunday & Public Holidays Closed

Adverse Weather Arrangement：

• The Pool will open as normal under any rainstorm warning in force.
• The Pool will close when Tropical Cyclone Warning No. 8 or above is hoisted.
• The Pool will resume 2 hours after the announcement of the Tropical Cyclone Warning No.3 or below is hoisted following the No.8 is lowered.
