South China Women’s Volleyball Team showcased remarkable fighting spirit at the “Hong Kong Volleyball Championship 2025,” organized by the Volleyball Association of Hong Kong, China. The prestigious tournament brought together 24 strong teams competing for top honors. SCAA held firm in tense rallies and clinched the match in straight sets, 25–23, 28–26, to make a first round victory. In the next round, the team dropped the first set 21–25, but quickly regrouped to edge the second set 28–26. Riding the momentum, they sealed the decider 15–10, advancing proudly to the quarterfinals.
Matched against powerhouse Hip Hing Volleyball Team, SCAA fought hard but fell short, losing in straight sets and bowing out of the competition.
Head coach Yu expressed satisfaction with the players’ overall performance, while noting the need to sharpen their finishing ability in crucial moments. He emphasized that targeted training will continue as the team strives for even greater success in future games.
